Submit Your Competition Entry

To be eligible to compete, you must:
– Live or operate in Jönköping County
– Be at least 18 years old
– Have established or be planning to establish a limited company (maximum of five years old)

The competition is open to those who have a registered limited company or will have one by the time they join the incubator. To participate, the company must be no older than 5 years, and you must be at least 18 years old and reside in Sweden. The company must be eligible to receive state aid under Article 22 of the GBER.

We assess:
– The level of innovation and how unique your idea is
– International potential
– How the idea contributes to Agenda 2030
– Your capacity to drive the idea forward

The company’s business idea should be a product or service with significant international and commercial potential, either new or significantly better than what is currently available on the market. The idea must be innovative and contribute to one or more of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals or clearly solve a societal challenge. The founder/team behind the company must demonstrate their ability to push the idea forward. The total time spent by the team should correspond to 75% of a full-time position dedicated to the idea during the incubation period.

We only consider complete entries submitted within the competition period via the designated digital application form. We reserve the right to remove entries from the competition without prior notice to the participant. Such action may result from the entry being deemed illegal, offensive, unethical, morally inappropriate, or in violation of any of our policies, or in the case of suspected fraud. These and all other decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

The competition is organized by Science Park Jönköping AB.

You can register for the competition exclusively through this page between September 23 and October 29, 2024. Winners will be announced on December 12, 2024.

By entering, you certify that your application is truthful and that you own the intellectual property rights and any other applicable rights to the submitted entry. You agree to hold Science Park Jönköping AB harmless from any claims made against Science Park Jönköping AB as a result of your entry. Science Park Jönköping AB is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from participation in the competition.

The winning entry will receive up to 100,000 SEK in development funds*, a place in Science Park’s incubator, and office space in Science Park’s coworking area.

Being part of our incubator means you will get your own business developer, access to external expert knowledge, and support with strategies for funding your company.
*”Development funds” means that the money is intended to further develop your idea. Science Park will cover expenses such as external services (no prize money will be paid directly to the company).

The funds must be used in the winner’s business activities for actions that clearly advance the company and validate the business idea. Decisions about activities will be made in consultation with Science Park Jönköping’s business developer.

Science Park Jönköping AB reserves the right not to select a winner if no entry is deemed to meet the quality required for acceptance into the incubator program.

As a winner, you grant Science Park Jönköping AB and the competition partners the right to use your name, company name, and a description of your idea in communication and marketing efforts, with no time limitations. No compensation will be paid for such use.

When you register for the competition, Science Park will process your personal data, such as your name and email address. You will also subscribe to our newsletter. We encourage you to read more about our data processing in our privacy policy. The sections “When you register for and participate in an event or activity” and “When you participate in business development” apply to our processing of your personal data related to your participation in the idea competition. We assess:
– How innovative your idea is
– The value it creates
– How unique your idea is
– The potential for growth
– How sustainable your idea is
