Firelight

Firelight is developing an innovative fire hose with built-in lighting to enhance safety, particularly for emergency services.

The innovation facilitates work in low-visibility conditions, making it easier to navigate hazardous environments. Thanks to Firelight’s hose with integrated LEDs, there is always an illuminated path leading out or back to safety.

The team behind Firelight consists of Fredrik Karlsson, Maria Pettersson, and Anders Östring.

Our idea is based on enhancing safety in areas where water hoses are used, especially for emergency services operating in smoke-filled environments where visibility is crucial. In dark, smoke-filled buildings, having a lifeline that leads back to safety can be the difference between life and death.
