An evening filled with bold ideas, heartfelt commitment, and a strong belief in the future. On June 3, Science Park hosted Impact Demo Day — the grand finale of its Startup Program. Six teams pitched their business ideas live on stage in front of an audience and a jury, competing for prize money, expert coaching, and a trip to the Techarena expo. The event was part of Science Park’s summer celebration and brought together 230 participants at Science Park Towers.
The winner of Impact Demo Day was Máté Horváth with Oncoly – a digital tool designed for cancer patients and their loved ones. By offering personalized guidance, medical analysis, and clear information, Oncoly aims to make the healthcare journey easier to understand and more reassuring.
The idea was born from a deeply personal experience. When Máté himself was diagnosed with cancer, he quickly realized what was missing: a support system that could accompany him through every step of the care process. That experience is now being transformed into a solution that could help others facing the same challenge.
– I’m incredibly grateful. When I joined the Startup Program, I was just happy to be part of it — to be surrounded by people with the same drive and ambition. I came here to learn. Now I feel one step closer to my goal of helping as many patients as possible,” said Máté after receiving the award.
